Creating vector shapes with Adobe Capture app
- As part of your CC subscription, as well as having great creative desktop apps, there are also mobile apps Adobe provides you with that you can install on your iPad, iPhone, or other mobile device. One of my favorites is Adobe Capture, and we're going to have a look at Adobe Capture now. We're actually going to use it to save some shapes for my creative project. Now I want to have a pair of scissors, and rather than try and draw the scissors in Illustrator, what I've done here is I've put a pair of scissors on a sheet of white paper, and if I click on the plus button under shapes in Adobe Capture, it will connect to my camera. With my camera selected, you'll see that I'm placing it over a pair of scissors that I've places on a white sheet of paper. Now I can adjust the threshold of that, and you'll see that as I adjust the threshold and move the image around, it's selecting different areas of the scissors. So the idea here is to get as much contrast between foreground and background…
