- Today's challenge was to animate the logo type Sky. How did your animation turn out? Did you create supporting elements to help motivate how the Sky letters resolved on? Or did you utilize the cloud element in the logo at all? Let me show you what I came up with. So my thought process went back to my solution for the fire squad animation in the previous challenge where I used the plugin Trapcode Particular to create flames. What I wanted to do is utilize Particular again, but this time to create light, puffy cloud elements that would help resolve on the Sky type. So I wanted a soft, gradual resolve on. So let's go into After Effects here and you'll see that I used layers as emitters again, and what I did was each letter I had a linear wipe to softly resolve on. And then I used that pre-comped layer of each letter to drive the particle animation and emit some particles from it.
