Designing the title using shape layers
- So we've made some important decisions about typeface and color but I do wish to top it off with an iconic message look. I think this little touch will help to communicate the fact that we have a new message waiting for us and also illustrate the conflict between the analog and the digital world. - [Voiceover] All right, so this is what we have now. We have our clip in the background and on top of it this title that we want to design using text and some shapes. And I want to do it in an isolated mode, meaning that I want to create a composition just for this text and treat it as one unit over here at our main composition. To do so I'm going to select the text over here, go to the Layer menu, and I'm going to choose Pre-compose. I'm going to name this composition The Message. Make sure to move all the attributes into the new composition and I'm also going to open this composition due to the fact that I want to work on it.
