Designing a title using text and shape layers

- [Voiceover] So let's start by typing in the text in order to design the title. I'm going to double click on the Text icon this will create an empty text layer on top of my video. And in order for both you and I to be on the same page I want you to reset the Character panel so go to the Option menu over here and choose Reset Character. Now if you're working on the PC you're probably going to see Arial over here, if you're working on the Mac it's going to be Helvetica but those are very similar fonts and we are not going to use either one of them I just want to make sure that we are starting from the same page. The only thing that wasn't changed were the colors of the field and the stroke. So I'm just going to use this eyedropper and sample the default black color from this swatch over here and let's also raise the font size to say 100. Now in order to start to type it you need to select a Composition panel once again, this will make our empty text once again active and I'm going to…
