Differences between stop motion and time lapse
A close relative of stop-motion animation is time lapse, and the tools you're using are capable of typically recording both. Some of you may have some experience with time-lapse animation or time-lapse photography. Let's take a look at how they're related. Now in this case, I've got the iPad setup, and I'm just going to record. But instead of like we did in the previous example where I triggered the recording manually, I could tell the camera to record a shot every few seconds. We'll do this under the camera settings. And you'll see here, there is a timer. And I can choose Time Lapse. What I'm asked to do is set an interval. The interval refers to how often something is recorded. I'm using time lapse here, and I'll set this to record every three seconds. That's 3.0 here with a very accurate decimal. Looks good, and I'll start to record. The timer clicks in, and every three seconds, it takes a picture. So, I'm going to just build something here. And we are building in some bricks…
