Distorting a layer

- When we looked at the range of effects available in this application, I mentioned that one whole category, as I think of them, are the transformative effects. Another way to think of these is distortion, or deformation effects. These terms make it sounds like the idea is to make things look less linear and perfect, and kind of odd, but they can also be used to create something perfect in its own right. Lets use a tool from the distort category to turn a linear graphic into a perfect ark. - So here is my linear graphic: the moon cycle. I've restored it to the scene as it was in the edit. And I'll scale it down, holding the shift key to constrain so that it fits in the frame. Move it up into the sky. And then, in order to get it looking like moons in the sky, I'm going to switch to modes down here in the timeline and set screen blending mode.
