Extruding shape layers

- [Instructor] So, what we want to do now is to animate those fleshes. And I want to give them a little bit more love meaning that I want to extrude them and create some 3D animation out of them. So, to do so, I'll pose the playback, I'll park my cursor over here at three seconds and then I'll select the fleshes layer and the first thing that they want to do is to right click on them and from there create options, I'm going to create shapes from vector layer. A way to extrude staff in after effect is to make sure that it is in its native vector format, which means that you can extrude only text and shape layers. So, having done this, I'll convert this layer to a 3D layer and then I'll trill down its properties and I'm after this geometry options. This is what's going to help us to give this a little bit of a volume or depth. Currently it is grayed out, it's dimmed. So, I'll click on change renderer and this is going to…
