Free version of Cinema 4D included with After Effects
- [EJ] Welcome to Motion Graphics Weekly, where you up your Mo-Graph knowledge, one week at a time. I'm EJ Hassnfratz, let's get our learn on! Did you know that there was actually a free version of Cinema 4D included in After Effects as part of your Creative Cloud subscription? Well if you didn't, it's completely understandable as it's not really marketed all that well, and it's a bit of a buried feature to access inside of After Effects. Well in this week's video, I'm gonna show you how you can access this version of Cinema 4D included in After Effects, called Cinema 4D Lite, and how you can begin using Cinema 4D even if you don't have the paid version. Now, it's a little bit convoluted for how you actually open up Cinema 4D, because you have to do it inside of After Effects. So to open up Cinema 4D Lite we're gonna go to File, New, Maxon Cinema 4D File, and this will prompt you to save a file somewhere, and you can name it whatever you want.
