- [Instructor] Some people like to use Gantt charts to help with project management. Gantt charts are particularly useful if you're working with more than one person on a project. A Gantt chart is kind of like a bar chart that helps you keep track of activities involved in your project. So it allows you to allocate time for different aspects of the project. Here you can see planning, research, design, implementation, and follow-up, just allocating how much time is available for each part of the project. Now this is in Gantt.com, and you can go there to find out more about what Gantt charts are, who created them, and so forth. And here's a more-detailed example. You can see you can create a hierarchy of tasks. You can set milestones. You can set project deadlines. All that kind of stuff can be set.
