Highlighting areas with Radio Waves

- In this video, we're going to draw our viewer's eye to specific points on the map by building repeating graphic elements using the Radio Waves effect. So if we look at our project, you can see we have a map and what we wanna do is create some graphics to highlight where the Rocky Mountains would be and I want these graphics to be kind of repetitive and pointy shaped like the mountains. So to do that, we'll start by creating a new layer solid. Let's make sure the composition panel's active then go up under Layer and choose New, Solid. Make sure the solid is the Comp size and you can choose whatever color you like. I'll click Okay and then we can go back up under Effect, go down to Generate and choose Radio Waves. Now, in order to see the waves, go ahead and press the spacebar and then press the spacebar one more time to stop playback somewhere near four seconds.
