Importing a camera from SynthEyes

- [Instructor] Okay, so now we're here in Maya, and we're ready to start working in 3D, but we need to set up a few things first. First thing we need to do is, we are going to be using a linear workflow for our compositing, so let's go up to our Maya preferences and down on the left hand side we're looking for color management, and we want to enable color management. The other thing we want to set up while we're in our preferences is our working units. When we were in SynthEyes, we used centimeters as our export units. So we need to go over to the settings, and just make sure that we are set up with centimeters, and just click save. The next thing we need to do is make sure we're looking at the correct plate. So let's go to panels, perspective, camera two, and you can see right away that our tracking markers aren't lining up with the shed, and that's because we're looking at the original plate and not the undistorted plate.
