Ingesting media into Adobe Premiere Pro
- We've already explored a little bit about Adobe Premiere Pro when it came to Ingesting Media. If you skipped those sections, be sure to click back and watch them for more in-depth coverage about working natively versus transcoded. For now, I want to show you how to use the media browser to bring files in. I'll switch to Adobe Premiere Pro, and I've already created a new project to hold my files. Don't use the Import command to bring in video footage. That's fine for bringing in stills or music, but it can often create problems when dealing with spanned clips or camera native formats. I'll invoke the Media Browser and with the mouse over the window press the accent grave key to open it. I'm going to bring in a couple clips here. Let's take in the green screen file, and this blue screen file from our shoot. I'm not going to use the Ingest option. Now, this was found from before, but if you don't know how to navigate to a particular location, you can use the file tree on the left here.…
