- Welcome to Motion Graphics Weekly, where you up your Mo-Graph knowledge one week at a time. I'm EJ Hassenfratz, let's get our learn on! In last week's video, we covered inverse kinematic rigging, or IK rigging, that allows joints to deform geometry to help us animate characters. In this week's video, we're going to build on this concept, and add in some IK dynamics that will allow us to apply physics and gravity to help move and animate our character. So here's our character again. To add dynamics to our IK chain, all we need to do is go to our IK tag here, and navigate over to our dynamics tab and just turn it on. And you can see that if I go back to frame zero and hit play, you can see our sock just kind of flop down. Now watch what happens when I actually move the joints here. And remember our sock is deformed by these joints through the skin deformer. So if I move these joints around, you can see that this is kind of flopping around a little bit, but you're going to see that our…
