- [Instructor] Colors are another primary method for communication through visuals. In this video, we're going to discuss some basic color theory. So, in the zero three, zero one Intro Color Theory After Effects project, I want you to go ahead and double-click on the zero one color theory composition to open it in the timeline. Notice we're starting with the artist's primary colors. They're called this because these are the colors that one would use to actually paint. So, if I were an artist painting on a canvas, I would start with these primary colors and, based off of these colors, I could create any other color in the spectrum by mixing these colors together, which leads us to secondary colors. So, select layer five and press I to move to the end point of that layer and you can see secondary colors. So, if I blend red and yellow paint together, I get orange. Yellow and blue together, I get green. Blue and red…
