Intro to typography

- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to explore some of the fundamentals of typography so we can build a common, unspoken language about the graphics we're going to create. For example, understanding the fundamentals of typography can allow you to add more words to a graphic without necessarily making it look more cluttered. Now, we're specifically working in the 02_01_Typography After Effects project, which is in our 02_Typography folder in our exercise files. Once you have that project open, go ahead and double-click on the typography composition to make sure the timeline panel is active. Now, if we look in the composition panel, you'll notice I have a capital X with a lowercase X followed by the word, typography, starting with a capital T. This'll be our foundation we can use to actually learn about the different parts of typography. So, to get started, I'm going to actually use these markers here in the timeline to…
