Lighting the scene
- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to display depth and shading on this logo. As well as speed up the preview performance. You can see it is very slow. All right? So I'll pause the playback. And let's go to one second where we can see our logo in its full glory. Now, I'll go to the layer menu and under new, I'll choose to add a new light. I'll make sure the light type is set to point light. And I'm going to use the default settings. Now if you want, you can switch off cast shadows because in this case, it will not have any effect on our logo. So let's click Ok and see the results and immediately you can see the contribution of this light to the logo. Now we can actually see the extrusion that we've created in the previous movie. Now we can also use lights to color correct our scene. And in this case, I want to warm up the logo, just touch. So I'll fall down these options…
