Making an ideal selection

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at a shot that's mostly stationary. This becomes very easy to fill in. What we need to first do is make the selection. I'll start with the layer selected, and grab my Pen tool. Now, using the existing lines here, I can make a bigger selection. There we go. And if necessary, move those points in. I'm trying to follow the existing shape to get a really good, clean target. Now what we can do is twirl this down and look at the mask. I'm going to set it to Subtract. It's looking pretty good. But just move this one point here slightly. If necessary, Shift + Click to select an individual point. And pay attention as you drag. I'm just trying to get it to match the general shape of the surface there by using the existing lines to help. A slight feather will create a better blend. There we go, looks good.
