- Now that we've got a basic composite, let's play with some color correction and exposure correction to make the two layers better match. Let's start with the first sequence and choose our subject. I'll come in, clear this out, and simply work with Color Correction, and drop it on the clip. Let's hide this and take a look at the color corrector. There it is. We'll show the controls and go to the Color Board. For example, Saturation. I'm going to desaturate the shadows a little bit, so that his sweater doesn't have such a color cast to it. That looks better. Let's bring up the saturation in his skin tones though and pull down the saturation in the whites. Over on the Exposure side, we'll just crush the blacks ever so slightly, recover a little bit of the face, but pop the whites, and that's looking a lot better in that scene. Alright, let's go to another sequence and you might decide to use an effect like Hue and Saturation. You can just drag that onto the comp. Now, if you open up…
