- Now it's not enough to just add 3Dness to the titles. In order to make it more realistic and really sell the shot, we must match the shadows as well. So you can do it using the automatic settings or you can improvise and cheat a little to save some render time. Here, let me show you what I mean. So when you are working with the Rat Race 3D engine, all the light in the scene can actually cast shadows. And in order for this to work, you need to create a shadow catcher. So the shadow catcher option is going to be generated from the effect itself, meaning that you need to select the 3D camera tracker and then just identify the plane that you want the shadow catcher to be generated, click on it, right click on this plane, and you can create a shadow catcher and light. Now this is a great way to work.
