Merging clips and generating tones/silence

- [Instructor] Now, just as you can split clips in Audition, you can also merge them together. Let me show you how that works. If I drag across the clips that I split just here, I can either right-click or go up to the Clip menu and choose Merge Clips. And you'll see it joins them all together, inserting silence in all of the places that there were gaps. Now, that does mean that I've got an awkward gap at the front and also at the very end, okay, of the movie. And I don't actually want that. I want this to be one complete soundtrack along there. I don't want to cause any issues with those things linking up. So, here's a trick and it's actually dual purpose this trick. I'm going to go to the Multitrack menu and choose Track here and add a stereo track. Okay, so I've got my new track just here, which I think I'll just call that Silencio like so, okay, because that's what it's going to be.
