- [Instructor] Now applying colors to an After Effects project may seem like a pretty straight-forward process. But dependent upon your creative workflow, there are some effects that you might want to check out which I'm going to cover here in this video. For example, in this project, I've gone through the visualization process in an external application called Illustrator and in Illustrator, I've gone ahead and built this title and background element and each of these elements, I've only used gray scale to actually work on the composition without getting distracted by color. So now, since it's imported into After Effects, I'd like to go ahead and colorize what I'm seeing. So let's start by colorizing these hills here in the foreground. I'll select layer two, the front hill layer, and I'll go up under the Effect menu and I'll go to color correction and I'll apply my favorite effect, tint. When you apply tint, you can…
