Mocha AE planar tracking
- [Instructor] There are some shots that may have less than ideal point tracking information such as when a tracking Mocha goes out of frame or when the point where tracking suddenly becomes obscured by a foreground object. Instead of tracking points in the footage, we can use Mocha AE to follow a defined texture as it moves through the duration of the shot resulting in a better track with less effort. Here we'll insert our own content inside of this phone using planar tracking. First things first let's come over to our assets folder and with our cell phone footage let's right click interpret footage. And under main, let's make sure that this says 30 frames per second, as it was originally shot. It may show up as something different when you relink the footage on your own computer.
