- [Narrator] So now that we have our scene set up, we have all our objects in there, we've got our materials, we've got our lighting, the next thing is just to start setting up our AOVs, which are our different channels we can use to render out other bits of the image, not just the beauty pass, to be able to make a really nice composite. We're going to be making some map channels and an ambient occlusion channel. The first thing we want to do is see how we set up some object IDs with red chips, we can assign those to the different color channels in the matte AOV that we're going to render out. So we're going to do four. We're going to do one for the building, one for the windows, one for the trees, and one for the hedges. So let's just dive in and I'll show you how we do this. I'm going to grab everything in the building here. I'm going to open that up, scroll down, and just select everything, except two things.
