Opening CINEMA 4D Lite in After Effects
If you have access to After Effects CC, did you know that you also have access to another great application called Cinema 4D lite. Cinema 4D is the industry standard for 3D motion graphics. It has great tools for creating 3D models, for animating, texturing, creating materials, lighting. And cameras for your 3D scenes. And it's extremely powerful and the light version of it comes free with After Effects CC. Now it's a fully flanged application but you can only open it from within After Effects. So if you want to open it for the first time, best way is to open up a project in After Effects Either an existing project. Or in this case, a new untitled project. And then from the file menu, you just go to file>new>Maxon Cinema 4D file. And what that will do is it will create a file in your After Effects project that's linked.
