- [Narrator] Welcome to Motion Graphics Weekly where you up your mo graph knowledge one week at a time. I'm EJ Hassenfratz, let's get our learn on. In this week's video I'm gonna show you how you can use the Sketch and Toon Hatch Shader to be able to create stylish 2D patterns procedurally inside of Cinema 4D. Now these patterns you can use for your 3D objects or for your After Effects or Photoshop workflow. Let's learn how. So here is our scene, it is just an extruded ring that's created from a circle spline and there's our extrude. I then have a separate texture for the caps and one for the extrude, so some purple and yellow textures here. And what I'm gonna do is apply some patterns to it vis a vis Hatch Shader. So what the Hatch Shader is is basically a cloner for image textures. So to grab a Hatch Shader and apply it to our material I'm just gonna double click my orange material here, go to my luminance, that's how I apply this flat shading to it, and go to Sketch and Toon and…
