Positioning the cameras

We've got our shooting environment. We've got plenty of light. we're ready to start recording. Now, if you've ever watched a movie, you'll detect that they use several different angles to tell the story. After all, only seeing the action from one angle is a lot like watching a live action play. While it's good entertainment, it's not as entertaining as it could be when it comes to dynamic storytelling. Every TV show and movie that's out there tends to combine multiple angles together to tell the story. One of my favorite books is called The Visual Story from Bruce Block, and you could check it out. It walks you through the whole process of understanding how shot composition is useful for things like movies and television shows. What I'm going to do is position the cameras to tell a good story.
