- [Instructor] Importing Illustrator files and After Effects does have a few caveats associated with the workflow but generally it's a similar process as importing Photoshop files. Here, we'll see how to prepare Illustrator files for import in the After Effects. I'm here on Illustrator, you can see that I have three layers. I've got my wall blob, I've got my supervisor and the desk lady. And these are three unique layers that have shapes inside of them. If we twirl down our desk lady, you can see that she's comprised of a desk, we've got the plant, we've got the front sleeve, all these individual shapes are individual pieces that you might think would import in the After Effects, but unfortunately After Effects only sees the top level layers inside of an Illustrator file. So let's hop over into After Effects and just import this by double clicking on our project window and inside of our exercise files, assets, vector…
