Refining Advanced Lightning animations
- In this video, we're going to focus on what we can do to add a little more depth and detail into our lightening animation. And we'll do this primarily through compositing effects like blend modes and travel mattes. So if we look at our project here you can see I've got this heavy metal word with some lightening, right, and if we press the Spacebar here you can see the lightening has actually been animated. But if you notice, the light really isn't changing on the word heavy very much at all. So I want to go ahead and make the lightening sort of light up the word. So I'll press the Spacebar to stop playback here, and I want to look at each individual layer separately, so I'll enable solo for Layer 1, and you can see that's just the lightening bolt. And then I'll enable solo for Layer 2, and you can see that's the left lightening bolt here, and the type for heavy. So it's gonna take me a little bit to kinda figure out how I can separate out my text, but it shouldn't be too, too bad…
