Now this is the video where we get to celebrate some techniques that we'll use in After Effects to save us a lot of time rendering out of 3D applications. Rather than having to use Global Illumination, we're going to recreate the glows inside of After Effects. So to get started let's use a Special Pass layer. Let's go to the project panel and in the Special Passes folder I want you to drag this Matte Loom image sequence into your project let's drag it down below layer 5. Okay, now if we scroll up to 100% you can see I've got some Aliasing for this layer. So I need to mask it off using our Object Buffer. So I'm going to drag the Object Buffer one right above layer six here and we'll select layer seven and just choose Aluma Matte. Okay. Now we have nice soft edges. Let's go ahead and select layers seven and six and Pre-compose. We'll call this Matloom Pre-comp and click OK. So we can see the rest of our letters change the Blend Mode to Add.
