Replicating 3D objects

In this chapter we are going to look at the exciting world of 3D object replication. We are going to be looking at this example to take a trip back to 8-bit video games. We have one single ring here, boom! And it explodes and becomes many rings. So, what we are going to do is we are going to use Element to replicate that single three-dimensional ring and blow it up into a bunch of different rings. Now, this is not exactly a particle system per se, usually particle systems have things like birth and death so that you control how many particles are being emitted and they are constantly being emitted. And with Element that's not really the case, we are taking one object and we are basically duplicating it a bunch of times. So, I'm going to go ahead and minimize this and go over to the Practice composition. So we could just kind of get a look at this before we see this in action in our project.
