Revealing the end title

- [Instructor] The last step of the animation is to reveal the end title on screen. Currently as you can see it is just appearing out of nowhere. I also want to continue the motion of the last part so it won't stop in the middle which looks kind of strange and a bit harsh. All right, so I'll pause the animation and I'll select the first layer here and the title zero two, press I to go to it's in-point and then I'll start by scaling it in. So I'll press S and a keyframe for the scale these should be the last value. So I'll drag the keyframe all the way to the end and then here at the beginning, I'll set it to 50%. Now, I also want to wipe it in using the texture of the planet underneath. So I'll use the same method that we did for the titles themselves which makes sense because this is after or the last title. So I'll go to the Effect menu and under Transition, I'll apply the CC Image Wipe effect. In this case, I'll open up the Gradient and I'll define to take the texture from the Orb layer, making sure that I'm including both Effects and Masks. Now I need to just find out where I wanted to start and end this transition. So I'll move forward to 32 and 18 frames, I happen to know that this is going to work nicely here and I'll set the completion to 100% but actually I want the other way around. So I'll check the Inverse Gradient which is going to work nicely here. So I'll say the key frame here for the completion at 100% at this time code and then I'll move to 36, 20 I might as well just type it in here and set the completion to zero. Then I'll park my playhead here in between just to check if I need to add some softness and I think it will help. So I'll raise the border softness here to 25%, which will create a better mix between the planet texture and the title. So let's just preview couple of seconds from this reveal and I think it's working quite nicely. Now, at some point, the animation just stops and this is because our Camera Orbit Null if I'll press U to see it's keyframes, don't have any additional motion from this frame onward. So let's go to the end and add additional motion for both the scale and Y-rotation. So I'll change one of the axis to 130, this is going to push the camera away from us and then I'll add a bit more rotation, let's go with 12 degrees. So now after the animation has ended, we will still have a bit of motion and since all the layers are 3D aware, everything will continue to move. So let's just preview this part and I think it looks great. All right, so let's go from the beginning I'm going to close everything and preview these comp from the start. So this is how you can reveal the end title and breathe some motion to the last part of the animation by adding additional keyframes to the null orbit that controls the camera.
