Scattering the type with Pixel Polly
- Now we've arrived to the fun part and this is of course where we explode the text to dozens of particles, so it will integrate with the dandelion seeds. To achieve that, we're going to rely on one of my favorite effects, which is the CC Pixel Polly. Now this is a fun and easy effect to work with, but it has some gotchas. So I want to show you how you can use it in this case. Okay so I'm going to start by selecting the text layer over here. And then from the effect menu under the simulation category I'm going to apply the CC Pixel Polly effect. If I'm going to preview the result, I can see almost nothing is happening on the screen. And the reason is because this simulation effect actually has a gotcha. It wants to start using this start time value, and currently the default setting is the effect start from zero seconds. Now if I'm going to switch off the effects icon, and once again play the result of what we've just created in the previous movie, we can see that we have this nice…
