- If you're working in Premiere Pro and you decide that you want to jump on over to its big brother compositing tool you can go to After Effects at any point in time. After Effects offers many advanced tools on compositing. I'm going to touch the surface here and show you how to make the jump. Then in our next chapter we'll explore what After Effects can do in-depth. Here's how it works. Let's start by selecting a sequence we haven't processed yet, I'll with Vertical. And I'll just nudge this up to a higher track, Option + up arrow, and grab a background to put her in. Let's use something we haven't seen yet, the Hallway. Now you might have noticed that when it brought that in the graphic seems a bit strange, that's because of the embedded Alpha Channel, so let's right-click on that graphic, go to Modify, Interpret Footage.
