- [Voiceover] Now that I have done my preparation work on my original footage, I need to create a CINEMA 4D layer, and integrate it into this world. Before I get started, I need to know what are the settings of my After Effects composition so I can enter those into CINEMA 4D Lite. I'll go to Composition, Composition Settings, I'll note that my size is 960 by 540 pixels, my Frame Rate is 29.97, and I have a duration of 18 seconds. The problem is, After Effects defaults to thinking in terms of SMPTE timecode, where CINEMA 4D thinks in frame numbers. If I Command-click on Mac, Control-click on Windows, on this main time display in the timeline panel, it will change to showing the frame number along the top. I'll press Home, my first frame is zero, I'll press End, or if necessary, I'll drag my time indicator to the end, my last frame is 539. I also need to enter those numbers into CINEMA 4D. Now hold Command or Control, click on this number to put it back to normal SMPTE timecode. Now…
