Solving camera motion and adding text
- To make sure that titles will integrate into the video, the first step we will need to accomplish is to track the shot and solve the camera. Now this is a straightforward procedure inside After Effects. Just in case you haven't seen it yet, I'm going to walk you through this process. So the first step over here is, of course, to solve the camera tracking in order to get some tracker points that will help us to add titles that will be on top of those rock formations. Before I'm going to apply the camera tracking effect, I want to pre-compose this layer since I've scaled it inside Premiere Pro and then copy and paste it over here. I just want to start with a fresh copy. So in order to do so, make sure that clip is selected in the Comp panel, then go to the Layer menu, and choose Pre-compose. I'm going to name it Source.
