Start animating with a preset

- If you're an InDesign pro, you're probably familiar with templates, although you may design your own more than you borrow stock ones from someone else. I don't know many aftereffects pros who rely on the built-in templates that are included with the application. Yet templates do provide our quickest path to create something from nothing, and start experimenting. To get started with templates, let's simplify our workspace a little bit. And specifically, I'm looking over here at these panels. Now, some of these are going to be familiar. We already opened up the character panel, and it has a lot in common with the character panel in InDesign, as does paragraph, but the tracker has no equivalent. If I close it and I change my mind later, I can go back to my panel window and just choose tracker. The tracker is actually for analyzing motion in moving footage and replicating it.
