Texturize patterns with Ball Action

- The ball action effect has some really interesting controls for turning your photos into textures. This effect recreates your image out of colored spheres and allows you to control the size of the spheres and even disburse and twist them in 3D space. So I'll use this effect to make a photo look like it's being broadcast on an oversize outdoor display. And so if you're following along, start with a new untitled project in After Effects, then go to the file menu, choose import, then file, then locate the file called swan.jpg, which is locate in folder three of the chapter three folder of the exercise files. So once you find the file, click open. Next, create a new composition based on that jpeg file. So I'll grab mine from the project panel, and just drop it into the composition area. Then let's go over to the effects and presets, let's come in here and search for ball, and under simulation, we'll see CC ball action. Let's apply that to our jpeg file.
