Track an element into motion
- [Instructor] Camera tracking is a sophisticated operation that can get complicated. In this case it's a great option to get right into something that After Effects does well, and in this case easily. This shot was taken very cleanly with a large open ground plane. And we can 3D track this logo into the scene in a few quick steps. The result will be more sophisticated than anything we could do so quickly and easily otherwise. Before I camera track the background layer I'm just going to trim it because we don't want to track the area that we're not using. I'll go ahead and trim the foreground as well. And I was holding down the shift key to get those to snap. Now, I'm gonna right-click on the layer and choose track camera. Now, while it works I'll just explain a little bit about what's happening.
