Understanding fill methods

- [Instructor] Now that we've got a good selection, let's evaluate the fill controls. The alpha expansion is useful, because, as you notice, we can expand or contract the target area. I'm going to expand it just a little bit, about a radius of 10. It'll look a little bit beyond these existing edges for better blending. Now we need to choose a method. Because we're removing the object, the object method is going to be the right choice here. This will take the very dominant object out and look at nearby frames to try to determine additional pixels. It will then sample pixels forward or backwards in time, and then move them to fill in the area. That's going to be the right choice. Now, if I want to do a small test, I could adjust the work area here like so. This will limit it to about one second. And that's good if you don't have confidence as to which method is going to work best. But in my case I'm just going to set this…
