Using the Pen tool to make a selection

- [Narrator] Let's continue to work here and remove the object. In this case, you'll notice that we've got an aerial shot and I want to remove the couple. There's a lot of ways to do this, but we're going to keep it pretty simple to start. Let's make an initial selection. I'll do this with the pen tool. I'm going to choose the area around the couple, and as I click and drag, you see it starts to make a shape. The challenge here though, is that this is making a shape layer, not a mask. So delete that and make sure that the layer itself is selected. Now, what you can do is start to click. And if I click and hold as I drag, I get Bezier handles. Make the selection a little bit loose. You'll also notice a cast shadow. So I want to choose that as well. It doesn't have to be perfect, but once it's pretty well selected, come back to the beginning and click to close the loop. You'll see initially, it chooses the area…
