From the course: Video Green Screen Workflows (2017)

Using the exercise files

- In order to bring things to life, I've put together a collection of exercise files. We'll be shooting some video on set and I'll share that with you so you can try out the different types of footage for keying both high-definition and 4K, as well as a collection of background plates. I'm going to provide this to you for hands-on practice, so feel free to use this as you explore the different techniques covered in this class. I do ask, though, that you don't use this footage or these backgrounds anywhere else. They are solely for your educational benefit. Please don't put them in a final production or share them online. If you don't have access to the exercise files, then grab some of your own keying footage and maybe your digital camera so you can shoot a few backgrounds. I'll walk you through all the techniques necessary to create this content so you'll be able to go out and create your own shots as well. I do encourage you, though, to get hands on, even if you normally just work in post-production. Trying to shoot this yourself will help you have a better understanding of the process. And even though you might think you really know how to use the software tools, there's a lot of little intricacies we're going to explore, advanced things, things like light wrap, reducing noise, dealing with tough footage. I've got a great collection of problem footage and a lot of subtle tricks to share with you, so I really encourage you to get your hands on the files and get some practice. All right, I'm super excited. We've got a lot of ground to cover today, so let's jump in and get started.
