- [Instructor] So how to get a comp that you can't stretch like so, you can try as you will but this shorter comp will not stretch to the duration of this particular comp in which it is nested. So how do we do that? How do we repeat a comp across a timeline? Well I suppose you could duplicate all of the layers and stagger them, so have a duplicate of this layer and stagger that across and across and so on, not the best use of your time. The answer comes to begin with, from time remapping and we can do that either via right click on the layer or if I go to the layer menu just here and down to time, you'll see enable time remapping just there. Once I've done that, you'll notice that I can see the key frames, okay, inside the file but that's still not what I'm after. What I actually want to do is to be able to change its duration and then get it to loop because otherwise, if I just do this and hit the space bar you'll see it just plays that one time, okay, and then does nothing so I'm…
