From the course: Motion Graphic Design: Composition

Welcome

- [Angie] Hi, my name's Angie Taylor, and I'd like to welcome you to my course, Motion Graphic Design Composition. This workshop forms part of a Cd's that will break down a real world project so that you can see the entire process from idea development through to final production. In the following tutorials, I'll show you how I developed and produced an online ad for Creative Cabin Limited. Together, we'll work through exercises based on techniques used in the creation of this finished motion graphic project. You can practice what you learn by applying similar techniques and processes to your own creative project. In this workshop, we'll look at some of the rules of composition and how they were developed by famous artists, designers and even mathematicians. We'll look at how you can apply the grids they developed to your artwork. We'll have a look at iOS apps that are used for capturing color and also for drawing and sketching out rough ideas. We'll then see how to take those rough ideas into applications like Illustrator and Photoshop and developing them into layers, ready for animating in after effects. We'll also look at how to create 3D elements for your design with Cinema 4D and After Effects. So let's get started and plan that creative project.
