What you should know before watching this course

- For this course, I'm going to assume you're familiar with the basics of video production. You've maybe lit an interview before, or maybe you've been working for years and just find green screen a bit challenging. This course is for all levels of users. If you're a complete beginner, you may find the need to brush up on a few related skills, such as lighting for the interview subject. But we'll touch on all of the essential skills here needed, including selecting the right gear, choosing the right settings in the camera, and putting it all together. Now, remember, every camera is going to be a bit different. I'm going to use a couple a different cameras on set here today, one from Panasonic and one from Sony. But if you're using a different brand, that's okay too. I'll walk you through the core settings. But it's a good idea to keep a copy of your camera manual around in case you need to look something up in it. Alright, we're going to jump in and explore a lot a different topics. And remember, if you want to go deeper on some of these topics or you're interested in learning more about advanced keying strategies or compositing using a particular piece of software, you'll find additional coverage in the online library. But today, we're going to take a complete and holistic look at keying, from the very beginning all the way through final delivery.
