- [Instructor] We established the design of those two lines of text which reads, "Can't escape the whirlpool." And now, in a very literal way, we are going to mix them together with the metal arm of the mixer above. In the last step of the previous movie I have pre-composed the two lines of text together to a single comp. The reason that I've merged them together is because I want to apply an effect on both of them in order to reveal it based on the movement of this mixer arm. All right, so let's go to the beginning, and I'm going to click on the Standard button over here so I can get access to the effects and presets. I'm going to use one of those effects that I'm using over and over in this course, which is the Linear Wipe effect. It is very efficient in a lot of cases and, as you can see in a moment, it will act perfectly in this case as well. So, double click in order to apply it to the whole comp.
