The essential principles of composition
- [Narrator] Now we've had to look to look at the elements of design, and some grids and guides, let's have a look at some of the principles of composition. So once you've decided which grid you'll use, how do you compose the individual elements within it? How do you work out what size elements should be? And where to position them? What color should they be? How much space should you leave around them? What speed should you use when animating them? There are so many considerations, that it can be overwhelming. Luckily there are a few principles of application, that will help you decide the best course. You need to consider all of these principles when choosing your layout. As I've said before, this may seem labored at first, but soon, with a bit or practice, it will become instinctive. The first principle we'll look at is unity.
