- [Instructor] Throughout this chapter we've been focusing primarily on this shot of Tayani with the hand and the magic off-screen and that whole bit. But this sequence is actually more than just this clip. There's a really important reverse shot that we used. And we used that to kind of show contrast with this shot in her hand and to make it clear to the audience. From a story perspective, it was intended to show how Cordea was around Tayani's magic but didn't really know what was going on. Also it was to make it even more obvious that Tayani was doing something magical. The critical aspect of that to sell that idea was the book ending of the main shot with these two shots. So we see this shot before Tayani does her magic. She has the little magic pop-up or whatever. But it's offscreen, that's subtle and all that stuff. than it was before because there's all this glow and stuff.
