Applying a thickness to a SubD surface
- [Instructor] Once you've created your subdivision model, you may want to add some thickness to it. I want to show you how to do that using the thickness command. So let's open up the command thicken, subdiv thicken. It's a very simple dialogue box. Here we have the value of distance, and we can increase or uncrease those edges. So very simple command. And let's just take a look at the very first one here. So I want to click, this sub divinity, and we have a arrow that appears we can increase the distance by just dragging on this arrow. And if we go right to that center where the dot is and I just click that we can change the direction, so direction and distance. Now, if we switch off crease edges we get more of an organic shape.
