Creating selection sets to enhance workflow
- [Instructor] One of the most overlooked and valuable commands that I find in Alias is the ability to create selection sets. Sometimes in the modeling process when you're picking control points in difficult areas it can be very tedious, and you don't want to just keep repeating yourself again and again to try to do that. So what you can do is pick it one time, create a set, and you can always refer back to that set at a later date. It really enhances the workflow. So let's go into our top view here. And we're going to go into box mode. So let's go to pick, point types, CV, and I'm going to pick this top group of CVs, then I'm going to go to edit, create a set. Now we have the option to create exclusive or multiple. Exclusive means that nothing can be added at a later date, and some of these points here that we have shown in yellow cannot be shared by another set. This is an exclusive set.
