Filling holes in SubD entities
- [Instructor] There will be times where you will be designing a part and there will be a hole that needs to be filled. I'm going to show you how to use the subdiv hole fill command to achieve that result. So in this case here, let's go up to object display, I'm going to go to diagnostic shading and let's use box mode. So under subdiv, if we have the option to fill hole. Now it's a very simple dialogue box, we have single surface and a multiple surface. That's the end result. So let's take a look at the plane first and let's create a hole in here. I'm going to go into pick, point types, and face and let's just pick these four faces. Now you'll notice those not so easy to pick those faces like this. So I'm going to go ahead select those entities and just light up my control points and edit points. Let's go back into point face and that's a little bit more intuitive.
